When wearing a boyfriend/baggy pair of jeans, for footwear, I always resort to a classic pointy pumps. It's a perfect counterpoint to the loose vibe of the jeans.



For details, I kept things relaxed and loose with my favorite partial tuck.

just in: cold weather

Great news! I'm going to my much-awaited holiday in 2 weeks. I'm going somewhere colder so I picked up this parka and this beanie (on sale at $5!) at H&M.

Since I'm into camo these days and I love utilitarian pieces, I opted for this parka instead of a wool coat. On the practical side, living in sunny Singapore, I have more opportunities to re-use the parka than a wool coat. 



Now planning my Winter Lookbook where I will re-purpose my light, Singapore-appropriate clothing and mix in these colder weather pieces and will depend a lot on layering. 

casual friday

Another casual Friday look. Button-down +shorts + court shoes is definitely my favorite casual combo.


Pairing with a button-down and a pair of dressy shoes makes this pair of denim shorts from getting too shabby.

i wear sunglasses at night

I don't. And with the current monsoon weather we have in Singapore, I hardly get to wear my sunglasses at all. 

But I did pick up these new black frames at H&M Men's at a budget-friendly price of $7.90. 
The pair in the middle is a foldable tortoise-shell style also from H&M and the yellow frames are a fun twist to the classic wayfarer from Rayban.

I'm in love with the camo trend. Great piece for a tough girl chic look. :)

 
I'm in love with this camo pullover that I found at Shana (at a great price too at $29!). Went casual paired with my denim cut-offs and sandal wedges.

H&M black scarf, which in warm Singapore I use as a warp inside freezing train carriages, on sale for $7; nude belt from Bershka on sale for $9.90; Uniqlo gray men's jeans on sale for $49 (I'm planning to wear this boyfriend style!); Evelyn Waugh's Brideshead Revisited from Penguin Books for $12.80 - not on sale but I never think twice on book purchases. :P
 

Arm party as one of my dependable photographer's (aka Ma) Christmas gift. Love it!
