A couple of weeks ago, I showed you a new pair of kitty-heel leopard printed pumps I picked up from Charles & Keith. (Up until this point, the pair is still stored in the box they came in - blame unpredictable Singapore monsoon season.)

Inspired by this image I spotted at The Sartorialist. Great mix print concept. The best way to mix to prints is to prints of similar shades together. Taking notes for the time I can (finally!) take my new kitty heels out for a spin.
To be honest, I've been doing more book-buying lately than shopping for new clothes and shoes (my wallet enjoyed that bit of reprieve!), but over the weekend, I dropped by Charles & Keith with Ma and while didn't have any plans to buy anything, saw this pair and instantly fell in love.
What's not to love? It's animal printed and pointy.
Refinery 29 can hate on kitty heel as much as they want, but to me, these are a god-send when you have to spend the entire day walking to the MRT, running after my bus and sprinting to the gym. I think it's the best balance of being fashionable yet comfy without towing the lines of wearing Mommy shoes.
Judging by the amount of time this good old chambray shorts has appeared on this blog, you can probably tell that this is one of my favorite pairs. I just love how perfect it is for casual days. You can pair chambray with pretty much anything. Like this leopard print black and white, for example. It tones down the boldness of the animal print, making it great for a casual look.
For an even more eclectic finish, paired with my bright yellow wedges.
BTW, since I am wearing pretty much head-to-toe Cotton On in this look, I heard Manila has opened its first Cotton On store. While not the best quality product out there, Cotton On is great for basics - I swear by their slouchy, oversized button-down's and if you want to buy trendy items for a reasonable price.
I was wearing: shirt and chambray shorts from Cotton On, yellow wedges from a random store in Philippines, Parfois bag (Manila).
Ugh Monday! Where'd the weekend go?
I thought I'd spice up the start of the week by pairing my leopard print pants with my leather gilet.
There's just something about leopard print that works so well with a leather highlight doesn't it?
Mixed in my favorite green men's muscle tee to add some color.
Have a great week ahead, friends!
I was wearing: Men's drop sleeve tee from H&M, pants from Divisoria, H&M leather gilet, wedges from Sapato Manila.
