Definitely one of my favourite trends this summer is the printed leggings. As I mentioned here, I am crushing on the Stradivarius printed leggings at the moment. I've been pretty much living in these leggings but realized I haven't showed them off here at the blog yet. (I went and picked up another pair which I will share with you soon.) 

I love pairing them with ankle boots. 

 

Paired with a simple white tee and topped off with a denim shirt.


Printed leggings are a colorful way we can embrace the summer. Fun and comfy enough to beat the summer heat.

The combo of the denim shirt + ankle boots recalls a cowboy costume. Ha! I wanted to pair my new favorite ankle boots with shorts this time. 



I'm loving this color combination and the outfit in general - just feels so relaxed.

neon city

My new-ish pair of neon yellow skinny jeans is becoming a new favorite. I love the way is fits like a second skin, yet it's so comfortable. 

The color is a perfect summer look - so fresh and lemony. Ha!


Paired with a versatile denim shirt. Denim is a good option to pair with neon as it's neutral enough to let the bright color take center stage, but at the same time, adds more interesting dynamic than with a solid black or even white.

 
Accessorized with a touch of blue to match with the top.

H&M Conscious Collection salmon lace skirt - $24.90


Two Fridays ago, I meant to participate at my gym's special Body Pump challenge. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to leave work in time so I didn't make it to class. Since I was already in Orchard Rd, I decided to drop by H&M. I didn't even spot this skirt until I was on my way out. I was drawn to this shade of salmon


and this gold zipper detail at the back.
Thinking of pairing this with a bright blue men's tee, white button-down or denim shirt.


Speaking of denim shirt, the Zara sale is on. Dropped by yesterday and managed to pick this up. 


Zara short-sleeved denim shirt marked down from $69.90 to $49.90


Saw this shirt weeks ago and I already liked the soft denim material and the light wash. But I found it a bit pricey. Patience rewards this time! 



I also like this unfinished detailing on the sleeve.
I can already think of many items in my closet that I can pair this with. Winner!

I'm so in love with my denim shirt that I decided to break my own rule and wore it again this week.



This is a twist to the classic yuppy uniform of shirt + pencil skirt. Swapped out the crisp white shirt for a slouchy denim. 



Opted to wear my flat ankle boots instead of pumps - less as a fashion statement, but more so that my feet could take a break from heels.

Happy Lunar New Year! To mark the occasion, I decided to wear the auspicious color red. 

I have been having this fixation with the red pants lately so I'm glad I finally managed to get my own pair.


And speaking of fixations, I've been searching far and wide for a denim shirt and have even asked Santa for Christmas. Well I finally found one at the Pull & Bear sale! Denim shirt is perfect worn with bright colored pants like how I wore it here or as a complement to balance out a girly dress or skirt. 

I love the details like the white buttons and the pocket "shadow".
