just in: ankle booties

A few posts ago, I told you about the Dicker boots-style ankle boots that I was craving for. Well last weekend, I was out window-shopping when I decided to check out Bershka. I always passed by the store on the way to Zara or Pull & Bear in Ion Orchard, but never really bother to drop in. 

Good thing I did cause hidden in the busy racks is this perfect pair of Dicker-inspired ankle booties.





Love the color, love the manageable heels, love everything about it! Will go perfectly with denim shorts, loose summer dresses and skinny jeans!

I've searched far and wide for the perfect white summer dress and finally found the perfect one from Zara at 50% off! 


I've been dreaming of styling the perfect white dress like this - paired with my utility vest. I love the contrast that this mix creates. 


A vest also streamlines the silhouette of the dress as well. 



Without the vest, this outfit ooks like a boring tai-tai look.

on my nails

I'm lovin' painting my nails lately. Here are my favorite colors:





I always go to the Korean brand Skin Food if I want fun, girly colors. Love this light pink/salmon shade and that hot pink shade. The tangerine shade from Revlon works best for earthy, music festival looks. 



The red from Revlon is a classic while the gold tone is a fun, evening shade (which looks silver-ish in sunlight). The gray from OPI is a new one I picked up and the color that  I am wearing at the moment. It turned out more light purple than gray but looks nice and dainty. 

sporty chic

My take on the sporty chic trend. Actually, this is not my first attempt with this trend. 


The idea of this trend is to mix in a sporty uniform like this pair of sweats and mix in with a dressier top and accessories.


I think next time, I'll wear my structured black top or pair with my denim vest and a higher heel.

Been craving for a Dicker-inspired ankle boots for awhile now. Saw this pair on Asos.

Perfect with skinny jeans, or worn with this dress, or even with a pair of denim shorts during the weekends. I have to save up for this! :D

Birthday gifts from Cuz. I have the exact look in mind for this eagle tee and I can't wait to show that look to you! And that fuschia top is a great color especially to color-block with.

Floral shirt from Stradivarius marked down from $79 to $19.90!
I love the colors and thoughtful details like the solid blue cuffs and collar that reminds me of a Japanese costume. This was the last piece left and it was in my size! It was meant to be. 

nautical

Bought this striped tee a long time ago from H&M's men's. Finally got the chance to wear it!


The striped navy is begging for a nautical look. So paired with my red skinny pants.


The tee almost looks like a women's blousy top and I'm super in love with it. 
Finished off the look with my black TOMS. 
All I need is a yacht and I'm ready to head off! ;P


Navy + red is such a great combo! 


BTW, today is Singapore's National Day. Happy 47th birthday, Singapore!
